The W.G. Hefner VAMC, Salisbury, NC is seeking the services of a certified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business that will completely prepare site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing structures, and furnish labor and materials and perform work for project 659-11-402, RENOVATE BUILDING 6 BASEMENT. This project consists of the renovation of both the interior and exterior of Building 6 in order to provide an updated modern residence for W.G. (Bill) Hefner VAMC police force. Work to include updating multiple rooms for training purposes, replacing interior finishes, removal and replacement of outdated Construction material, Mechanical, Plumbing and Electrical systems. Construction work is to be performed in accordance to local building code, specifications, and contract/documents. The NAICS code for this procurement is 236220 with a small business size standard of $33.5M. All work shall be completed within one-hundred and eighty (180) calendar days after date of receipt of notice to proceed. This includes final inspection, punch-list, and clean-up. The estimated dollar amount of this procurement is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. Solicitation will be posted on/about May 29, 2012.
