Project Description & Purpose The federally-funded work performed under this contract consists of completion of the north side of Prater Way from View Street to the east side of 22nd Street, including but not limited to, removal of existing curb, gutter, sidewalk, retaining wall, landscaping, and fencing; construction of new curb, gutter, sidewalk, handicap ramps, fencing, concrete retaining wall; landscape and irrigation improvements; installation of new street lights; adjustment and rewiring of existing traffic lights and equipment; installation of traffic loops; and all appurtenant work necessary to complete the project as stated in the bid specifications. The location of the work is on the north side of Prater Way from View Street to the east side of 22nd Street within the city limits of Sparks, Washoe County, Nevada, and more specifically described in the plans for this project. The purpose of this work is street enhancement.
